Ten Best Healthy Eating Blogs (…for people who actually like food.)

author-amanda-innes

Hey guys! Today I’m going to be sharing with you some of the best healthy eating blogs on the planet. But before I do let me introduce myself.

My name is Amanda and I’m the social media manager and blog content coordinator here at ithinkicanfitness.com. One of the best (and worst) parts of my job is that I get to spend a lot of time cruising the interwebs looking for things that are inspiring, informational, humorous, and healthy!

After a morning of browsing blogs all I want to do is sink my teeth into a vegan brownie or whip up some smooth and spicy pizza hummus!

So here they are, a mere sampling of some of the best healthy eating blogs that are out there (in my opinion). Someday I’ll be an amazing cook and able to whip up original ingredients into thoughtful, healthy, and delicious entrees/desserts. Until then, these gorgeous blogs will continue to inspire and encourage me to feast with my eyes!

“Better With Veggies” does Maple Bacon Doughnuts

healthy eating blogs - Better with Veggies recipe Maple Bacon Doughnuts

Not as much of a guilty pleasure as you’d think. These doughnuts include some unique ingredients like chickpea flour and almond milk making them a tasty vegan alternative to one of America’s favorite breakfast treats!

“Fork and Beans” does Thin Mints

Thin Mints

Cheaper (and more healthy) than their namesake, these cookies are scrumptious and easy on the eyes. Make twice what you think you’re going to want because these cookies go fast!

“The Guiltless Life” does Delectable, Divine Like-Lindt-Lindor Truffles

Truffles from blog The Guiltless Life

Okay, so chocolates aren’t an everyday healthy kind of thing. But these truffles are so delectable and with only natural sweeteners (agave) they’re the kind of gifts you can give over and over without feeling guilty!

“Two Peas and Their Pod” does Creamy Avocado Yogurt Dip

yogurt avocado dip from blog Two Peas and their Pod

I’m going to admit something – I’m not a huge yogurt fan [gasp of horror]. But luckily for Two Peas and Their Pod I overcame my yogurt aversion and gave this recipe a try, and I loved it! This creamy dip works equally well for a party or an afternoon snack.

“A Fit and Spicy Life” does Healthy Fried Rice

thin mints from blog A Fit and Spicy Life

Fried rice was a staple in my house growing up, and one of the dishes I was most sad to see go when I started eating more healthy. Subbing tofu for bacon gives this dish a necessary protein balance and relies on the veggies and soy sauce for flavor – it’s a home run!

“Healthy and Gourmet” does Sweet Corn Queseadillas
