How Does it Work?
For your monthly payment of $150 you get your own personal trainer. He/she gets to know to your body (it’s strengths, weaknesses, and injuries) and your life (time available, exercise environment, psychological factors, etc). They use this knowledge to custom design a program. Then they follow up with you regularly to make sure all is going to plan and make adjustments if necessary.
What is Included?
An Hour Long Session in Your Home
There is no substitute for the physical presence of a personal trainer. Your trainer will come give you a workout session and check in on your progress every month. They will check your form to make sure you aren’t doing anything that may cause injuries down the road. And you’ll be amazed at how motivating it is to know that your trainer is going to be coming to your house at the end of your month-long program.
Mid-Month Phone Check-In
A 15-30 minute check-in to see how things are progressing. A good time to bring up challenges, aches and pains, or anything that just doesn’t feel right.
Here is the real meat of the program. Everybody is different. Buying workout programs off-the-shelf does not take this into account. The result? Injuries, lack of follow-through, disillusionment… You know the story. The tricky part is to have a program that is challenging but not frustrating. Custom program design is an art and a science. A program designed specifically for you can make all the difference.
Studies have shown that something as simple as an email or text reminder dramatically increases follow-through on a workout program or in changing any habit. You’ll receive consistent reminders in the communication medium that works best for you.
